Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen rockets targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were striving to repair systems.

A wave of strikes damaged energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
