Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
